BABY-FACED As they denounced “criminal” Vladimir Putin for his invasion of Ukraine, Russian soldiers stated they were ordered to die “like meat.”
The seized forces said Putin “duped” them into waging his unwinnable war in Ukraine.
Five baby-faced troops alleged in a news conference televised on Ukrainian TV that Ukrainian defenders crushed their column “to ashes” after being left alone for five days without food or gasoline.
“We want to come to a halt and tell the truth to the entire globe. Children are dying for naught “a soldier addressed a crowded news conference
“Putin is a deceiver. I want to go home; I don’t want to be here; I’m sorry; please forgive me.”
The guys said they were little more than cannon fodder for Russian generals who were sending inexperienced, conscripted warriors to their deaths at a young age.
“We are meat; we are being slaughtered by aeroplanes and artillery striking calm communities,” one soldier explained.
“Comrade Russian President, you are lying; you conduct such acts here at your leisure.
“Putin, you’re wrong, and you’re guilty. I’d like to put a stop to all of this. Please direct that all personnel return home.”
He continued, saying: “I believed the government was reasonable, but they treated us as if we were meat.
“This is the primary command’s problem.”
Another squad of detained Russian soldiers has been caught apologising for killing “civilians and children” in Ukraine.
During an emotional news conference on Sunday, the pilots denounced Putin’s “treacherous invasion.”
According to reports, the seven army reconnaissance personnel were shot down in Ukrainian airspace last week.
Later, they were given the opportunity to talk with journalists from the Interfax Ukraine News Agency to apologise for their country’s acts.
“I apologise for myself, for my squad, to every home, to every street, to every inhabitant of Ukraine, to the elderly, to women, to children for our invasion of these territories,” one of the troops, Galkin Sergey Alekseevich, stated.
“I gravely apologise for our treacherous invasion.
“To the generalship of our military units I would like to say one thing – that they’ve acted cowardly, that they acted traitorously to us.”
The 34-year-old, from Roschchinsky, Russia, went on to beg warmongering Putin to “stop sending soldiers” to kill in Ukraine.
Flanked by his comrades on either side with a microphone in front of him, he urged his country to lay down its arms.
“I would want to address all units of the Russian army and tell them to lay down their arms,” Alekseevich declared.
“And Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin orders a halt to future war operations.”
“Stop bombs, stop bringing troops here to slaughter civilians and conduct airstrikes.”
His urgent appeal comes after demoralised Russian soldiers pleaded to return home in intercepted conversations to their families last week, claiming they were being “massacred” in Ukraine.
One scared soldier sobbed as kind-hearted Ukrainians assisted him in calling his mother.
Another stated he and his friends were “cannon fodder,” and that he would “do everything” to get home.
Russian soldiers have also been accused of shooting women and children, killing seven people who were attempting to flee a town near Kyiv.
Putin’s army are closing in on the city, reported to be barely 15 kilometres away, while scared Ukrainians abandon their homes.
