Watch: Prince William exchange rare hugs with Prince Charles

LONDON: Before and after the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on Monday, March 14, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton were seen chatting with the former’s father, Prince Charles.

The royals were spotted exchanging rare hugs and kisses with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the opening of the ceremony, then with Charles at the end of the service when they found time to come out and chat with him exclusively, according to Express UK.

For The Mirror, Jeremy Freeman, a lip-reading expert, attempted to understand the trio’s chat, and according to him, they were busy arranging future plans!

According to reports, Charles told his son and daughter-in-law, “We are going to pop in and see you all.”

While no specific date has been set, it appears like Charles will pay William and Kate a visit after they return from a weeklong tour to the Caribbean later this month.

Charles is anticipated to spend time with his three grandkids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, at the gathering.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s two children, Archie and Lilibet, are among the future king’s five grandchildren.

Prince William stated his desire for his father to spend more time with his children earlier this year, saying, “I would like him to have more time with the children… to, you know, play around with the grandchildren. When he’s there, he’s brilliant, but we need him there as much as possible.”
