After Buckingham Palace disclosed senior royals’ future intentions, the issue regarding Harry and Andrew’s role as counselors were rekindled.
The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge will go on multiple excursions to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in the coming months.
Prince Charles will be in Ireland and Prince William will be in the Bahamas in March, so both royals will be out of the country for at least one day.
“Charles would be in Ireland,” editor Richard Eden told Palace Confidential. “Obviously, he might come back in an emergency.”
“But the fact is, Prince Andrew or Prince Harry, as the law stands, would have to step in and that’s not right. That needs to be changed.”
