DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad paid rich tributes to the sacrifices of armed forces for the defence of their motherland.
He said this while addressing FC personnel during his visit to the Headquarters of South Frontier Corps Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.
The minister further said that the nation would always remember the bravery and selfless sacrifices of armed forces in safeguarding the geographical boundaries of the country and feel proud of their brave officers and soldiers.

Earlier, the interior minister at his arrival at the headquarters was received by Inspector General South Frontier Corps Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Major General Muneer Afsar. A smart contingent of the FC Corps also a gurad of honour to the minister on this occasion.
Later on, the interior minister was briefed about the operational preparation of FC Corps KPK, border security and management.

Rasheed also visited the under-construction new headquarter of South Frontier Corps Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in Chaikan where he also laid the foundation of a new FC College and mosque.
The interior minister also planted a sapling at the FC KPK headquarters.
