Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam changed his mode of skill and delivered his first over as a bowler in international cricket after seeing the turning pitch of Shere Bangla Cricket Stadium, Dhaka.
The 27-year-old took his first international wicket on the fifth ball of his first over. Azam delivered the 26th over of the Bangladesh innings which was also the last over of day four of the second Test after bad light once again forced early stumps.
To forge out a result from the rain-hit Test, Pakistan declared their innings early on day four having scored 300 runs at the loss of four wickets with Fawad Alam (50) and Mohammad Rizwan (53) not out.
Azam started trending on Twitter due to his off-spin bowling and his fans praised his skill.
