LAHORE: Director General FIA Dr Sanaullah Abbasi on Friday presided over a meeting to review the ongoing crackdown against currency smuggling.

All the director generals and zonal directors participated in the meeting via video link.

Zonal directors from across the country gave a detailed briefing to the DG on the steps being taken against the culprits involved in hoarding and smuggling of foreign currency.

Abbasi appreciated the progress of zonal offices of the FIA and directed them to take strict actions against culprits involved in this crime.
