Role of cadet colleges laudable, governor K-P

PESHAWAR: The role of Cadet Colleges in providing high-quality education in the province is laudable, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman said on Tuesday.

Addressing the gathering of parents and students as the chief guest, Farman said that the confidence of the students was proof of their bright future.

“Their confidence on the faces of the students of this great educational institute is giving me immense pleasure,” he expressed.

Earlier, cadets welcomed the chief guest with a guard of honour. Cadet College Kohat students also showed their horse riding and gymnastics skills during the colourful event.

The governor distributed gold medals, trophies and other prizes among the students passing metric and inter-mediate exams with distinctions.

“It is a matter of pride for any student to study at Cadet College Kohat. After finishing their education here, these students acquire high civil and military positions and serve their nation in the best way possible,” Shah Farman opined.

He added that youth are the asset of Pakistan and the government was committed to providing them with the best future.

“The world cannot tolerate Pakistan for being the only Islamic nuclear power. Ours’ is not a poor country, Allah has blessed our country with great treasures,” governor K-P added.

Earlier, Principal Cadet College Kohat Brigadier (Retired) Muhammad Tufail talked in detail about the academic activities and overall performance of the college.

The event was attended by parents, faculty and a number of civil and military officials.
