KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information Saeed Ghani on Monday held the federal government responsible for the sugar and petrol crisis in the country.
Speaking in a press conference, the Sindh minister said that ironically the federal government blamed the provincial government for the sugar crisis as they perpetuated the narrative that Sindh has directed three sugar mills to stop crushing sugar.
“PTI always tell lies. It starts from the top and then all the spokespersons toe the same line. But PPP has increased its votes and support in the meantime,” he said.
Ghani demanded the premier to present his source of income before the nation.

Earlier in a press conference this month, Ghani had rebuffed the allegations leveled by the Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry over the alleged involvement of the Sindh government behind the sugar crisis.
“The federal government took no measures from August till now to end the sugar shortage,” he said. “Prime Minister Imran Khan blamed the PPP-led Sindh government for the sugar crisis, but the people responsible for making flour, sugar, petrol and medicines expensive are with Imran Khan.”
