DOHA – US journalist Danny Fenster said he was “arrested for no reason” but not “starved or beaten” after he was freed from prison and deported from Myanmar on Monday.
“I was arrested and held in captivity for no reason… but physically I was healthy. I wasn’t starved or beaten,” Fenster told journalists after arriving in the Qatari capital, Doha. He was deported a day before facing terror and sedition charges.
