Traders seek govt’s help for problems resolution

ISLAMABAD: A traders’ delegation met the adviser to the prime minister on finance and briefed him about the problems being faced by the businessmen, especially small traders and sought the government’s support to resolve them.

During a meeting with Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajaran Pakistan delegation, headed by its president Muhammad Kashif Chaudhry, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin lauded the contribution of the business community for the betterment of the economy and assured them that the government is fully committed to providing all-out support to the business community.

The adviser also said the government is keen to take initiatives to bridge the communication gap between both sides and concrete steps will be taken for the solution of the business community’s concerns.

The delegation thanked the adviser for cooperation and addressing the issues positively.
