At least six people, including a policeman, have died in a gun shooting that happened in Jersey City in New Jersey.

According to the international news agency, fierce shooting was carried out on Tuesday with many law enforcement officers.

Hudson Country Prosecutor Esther Surarez has mentioned in his tweet that at least three people were injured. However, they are in a stable state.

Authorities do not consider it an attack of terrorism. The investigation is underway.

According to local media, the battle had started when two suspects blocked themselves in a shop.

Recent reports say that three people and two gunmen were killed in the shop as the shout out was carried out.

Two police officers were also wounded in the shooting, according to Mayor Jersey City Steven Fulop.
