Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan says construction of housing units under Naya Pakistan Housing Program will provide shelter to the poor people.
In her tweets on Friday, she said the procedure will be simplified besides extending facilitation to those associated with the construction sector.
پاکستان میں غریب اور عام شہریوں کو اپنے گھر کی چھت کا تحفظ دینے کیلئے پیش رفت تیزی سے جاری ہے۔ وزیراعظم عمران خان نیا پاکستان ہاؤسنگ پروگرام کے تحت گھروں کی تعمیر کے منصوبے کی تکمیل کیلئے پرعزم ہیں۔

تعمیر شدہ گھر کی فروخت کے مرحلے پر فکس ٹیکس کا نفاذ اور تعمیراتی مرحلے پر سیلز ٹیکس کا خاتمہ شعبہ تعمیرات کے فروغ اور ترقی میں سنگ میل ثابت ہوگا۔

She said abolition of sales tax during the construction phase, reduction of capital value tax, imposition of fixed tax and issuance of e-statement papers will prove to be an important milestone in taking forward the construction sector.
اجازت ناموں اور این او سیز کو ممکنہ حد تک کم کیا جا رہا ہے جس سے تعمیرات کے شعبے کو فروغ ملے گا، معاشی سرگرمیوں میں اضافہ اور ہنر مند افراد کے لیے روزگار کی نئی راہیں کھلیں گی۔

She said procedures pertaining to approvals and NOCs are being cut to a great extent.

She was confident that the development of construction sector will generate economic activity and create immense job opportunities for the youth.
