The launching ceremony of indigenously designed multi mission capable Fast Attack Craft FAC (M)-4 for Pakistan Navy was held at Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works.
Chief Guest Federal Minister for Defense Production Zubaida Jalal, applauded the national goal of self-reliance.
Speaking on the occasion, Zubaida Jalal said her ministry is striving to establish new shipyards for the country’s economic development.
According to a spokesperson of Pakistan Navy, Managing Director Shipyard Rear Admiral Ather Saleem highlighted the project of ship manufacturing and termed it a milestone towards self-reliance at the country level.
The ship is missile craft which will be equipped with multi mission and latest anti-ship missile and sensors.
