Azadi March: Government’s negotiation committee to meet PM today

Government’s Negotiation committee is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Imran Khan today, in order tackle the marchers of Azadi March.

According to details, team will give a brief to PM Imran, regarding the negotiations with the opposition on the Azadi March.

Head of the government’s negotiation team, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak will discuss opposition’s demands on the March.

The federal government had decided to give conditional permission to the opposition parties willing to organize ‘Azadi March’ in Islamabad on October 27. 

It was decided to allow the opposition parties for holding protest march which must comply with the orders given in the previous verdicts of the courts.

The committee members said that they will approach opposition leaders for holding dialogues before the organization of October 27 demonstration.

The government gave the opposition the go-ahead for the Azadi March on October 23. But PM Khan wants the protest to be peaceful.
