The government has achieved significant success in helping the weaker sections of the society to build houses under the Prime minister’s low-cost housing scheme.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Rs. 3.35 billion has been utilized for the construction of seven and a half thousand (7572) houses so far and the recovery rate so far has been 100 per cent.
Repatriated funds are being provided to more families while 2416 more applications are being processed.
The majority of the beneficiary families are people whose financial resources were very limited.
Families benefiting from the program have thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan.
