Magnitude 3.3 Earthquake Shakes Chaman, Adjoining Areas

An earthquake with magnitude of 3.3 originated near Chaman, Balochistan here on Wednesday (today).

According to the details, Earthquake tremors with 3.3 magnitude felt in Pak-Afghab bordering town Chaman & surrounding areas.

The tremors forced people to come out of their houses in panic and reciting Kalma-e-Tayyaba.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the quake’s depth was recorded at 35 kilometres.

Earlier, a 5.1 magnitude earthquake had jolted Quetta and adjoining areas with no loss of life reported.

The depth of the quake recorded 38 kilometres while the epicentre 38 kilometres in the west of the Balochistan capital.

Feeling the tremors people in Quetta, Pashin, Harnai and other areas came out of their houses by reciting Kalma-e-Tayyaba.
