The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has issued arrest warrants for the former president and Co-Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari.
According to the details, the anti-graft body has issued arrest warrants against Asif Ali Zardari in the fake accounts case. According to NAB, the arrest warrants have been issued over suspicious transactions worth Rs 8 billion.
The former president, who is nominated in multiple corruption cases filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), is out on bail granted by the Islamabad High Court on medical grounds last year. Recently, he was indicted in a money laundering, Park Lane properties, and Thatta water supply references instituted by the National Accountability Bureau.
On October 11, the PPP co-chairperson was shifted to a private hospital in Karachi on Sunday evening after he felt “unwell”, said the party.
“Doctors are conducting his medical check-up and necessary medical tests,” PPP said on Twitter.

Zardari’s long-time associate Dr Asim Hussain told that the former president was brought to the hospital due to a low sugar level.
