Israeli forces have reportedly killed another Palestinian in Gaza City despite a United States-brokered ceasefire, raising the death toll since the truce was signed to 236, according to international media reports.
The armed group Hamas said it had handed over the bodies of three more captives to mediators following what it described as a “complex search operation” in Gaza City.
The latest incident underscores ongoing tensions and frequent violations of the ceasefire agreement reached on October 10, which aimed to halt hostilities after months of devastating conflict. According to Palestinian sources, the Israeli army has breached the ceasefire at least 194 times since it came into effect.
Meanwhile, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone launched three missiles near the Zefta Nmeiriyeh junction in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon.
Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon also killed four civilians, as cross-border hostilities intensified despite international calls for restraint.
