Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari held an important meeting at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday, where they discussed possible political changes in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
According to sources, the meeting took place amid a noticeable increase in political activity in Islamabad over the past few days.
The discussion, held in a cordial atmosphere, covered the overall political situation of the country, future strategy, and a possible power-sharing formula between coalition partners.
Sources said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also attended the meeting.
During the talks, coalition leaders agreed to strengthen consultation on government matters and take coordinated steps to ensure political stability.
After the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif returned to the Prime Minister’s House, sources added.
