India-sponsored extremist terrorists attempted a cowardly attack on the Federal Constabulary Headquarters in Bannu, which was foiled by security forces with courage, professionalism, and a spirit of sacrifice.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists tried to breach the security perimeter, but vigilant and determined troops immediately responded and prevented the attack.
During the incident, an explosives-laden vehicle collided with the outer wall of the FC headquarters and detonated in a powerful suicide blast, demolishing the wall and causing severe damage to nearby civilian infrastructure. Three civilians were injured in the blast and were provided with immediate medical assistance.
Meanwhile, six soldiers from the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps embraced martyrdom while bravely confronting the attackers. In retaliation, security forces killed five extremist terrorists and cleared the area completely. Search operations continue to eliminate any remaining threats.
The ISPR stated that this attack is part of India’s proxy war aimed at destabilizing Pakistan and emphasized that such enemy tactics cannot weaken the nation’s resolve.
The ISPR also paid tribute to the martyrs, honoring their sacrifice for the protection of the country and its people. Pakistan Army and security agencies remain determined to defeat all enemies of national sovereignty and peace on every front.
