In Sanghar, police investigations are ongoing into the death of journalist Khawar Hussain, with the preliminary autopsy report now available.
According to police officials, it appears that Khawar Hussain shot himself with his own licensed pistol. The bullet lodged in his head was fired from his personal firearm. The initial findings of the autopsy suggest a case of suicide.
Police have collected various evidence, including fingerprint analysis and CCTV footage. The CCTV footage shows Khawar entering and exiting a restaurant and sitting in his car.
Authorities reveal that Khawar visited the restaurant twice before his death. Two eyewitnesses saw him entering and leaving the restaurant in his vehicle.
The police are also conducting forensic analysis of Khawar Hussain’s mobile phones. One phone has been recovered, while the other is missing; efforts are underway to locate it, as it may have fallen or been misplaced.
According to the Chief Medical Examiner, the evidence supports the conclusion that the incident was a suicide. However, authorities are conducting a thorough investigation from all angles to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the case.
