Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that on May 10, India’s pride was broken, and a lesson was given for the whole world to see, enemy will remember forever.
Speaking at an event in Islamabad on the occasion of International Youth Day, the Prime Minister said that in the four-day war, Pakistan’s brave soldiers gave a strong response to the enemy.
He stated that on May 6 and May 10, the Pakistan Armed Forces struck the enemy hard. He added that Pakistan’s fighter pilots shot down six Indian aircraft, including Rafales, and could have destroyed more if they wanted.
The Prime Minister said Pakistan is a responsible state, but even in the face of open aggression, it exercised patience. He noted that if Pakistan had fully used its available power, India would have suffered even greater losses.
He urged the youth to work hard so that, through hard work, Pakistan could become a great nation. He also extended Independence Day greetings to the nation.
