LAHORE: Senior actor Syed Asim Bukhari was rushed to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology after suffering a heart attack. He is currently undergoing treatment at the facility.
Upon admission, his lungs were reportedly not functioning properly. However, doctors at the facility stated on Friday that his overall health is getting better and they remain hopeful about his recovery.
“We are monitoring his condition closely and are optimistic,” a senior doctor at the hospital said.
