Motorcycle owners in Sindh can now conveniently apply for their new Ajrak number plates from the comfort of their homes at any time.
After introducing this facility for cars, the Sindh Excise Department has now extended this convenient online service to motorcyclists as well.
To apply online for your motorcycle’s Ajrak number plate with modern features, visit the Sindh Excise Department’s official website and click on “Quick Online Tax Payment.”
You will see options for four-wheel and two-wheel vehicles — select the two-wheeler option. Enter your mobile number and your motorcycle’s registration number, complete the captcha, and click on “Vehicle Detail.” Your bike’s details will be displayed on the screen.
Next, select your branch office and click “Calculate Amount.” The payable amount will appear. Click on “Generate PSID” to receive a unique payment number. You can then go to the “Reprint Challan Receipt” option at the top of the website to download and print your payment receipt — make sure to keep this receipt safe for your records.
The fee for the Ajrak number plate for motorcycles is Rs. 1,850. To pay this fee, simply log in to your mobile banking app, select the One-Link option, enter the provided PSID number in the Consumer ID field, and complete your payment. Payments can also be made easily through Easypaisa or JazzCash.
Additionally, you can check the status of your number plate online. On the Excise Department’s website, click on the “Check Your Number Plate” option. Select two-wheeler, enter your motorcycle’s registration number, verify “I’m not a robot,” and click “Search.” The status of your number plate will be displayed. If your number plate is ready, simply visit the Excise Office to collect it.
