KARACHI: A 24-year-old man was shot dead during a robbery attempt in Orangi Town, Karachi, after offering resistance to armed assailants.
According to police, the deceased, identified as Jibran, had recently arrived in Karachi from Saudi Arabia to attend his father’s funeral. The tragic incident occurred when unidentified robbers attempted to loot him, and upon resistance, opened fire.
The suspects fled the scene after the shooting. Police have launched an investigation and are conducting raids in various areas to apprehend the culprits.
Police have confirmed the incident and stated that raids are currently underway to apprehend the suspects.
Jibran’s grieving family has appealed to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and other relevant government officials, urging swift and decisive action to ensure the culprits are apprehended and brought to justice.
