Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will today attend the 17th ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization) Summit in Baku, Azerbaijan, which marks a two-day event.
According to the statement from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the summit, the Prime Minister will lead the Pakistani delegation and present Pakistan’s perspective on key regional and global challenges.
The statement further mentioned that he will reaffirm Pakistan’s commitment to the ECO Vision 2025 and support efforts to promote regional trade, transportation links, energy cooperation, and sustainable development.
During the summit, PM Shehbaz will hold bilateral meetings with other ECO leaders to discuss matters of mutual interest.
The topic of the meeting is ‘New ECO Vision for a Sustainable and Environmentally Strong Future.’
