KARACHI: The earthquake tremors were felt in various parts of Karachi on Saturday, causing concern among residents.
According to Chief Meteorologist Ameer Haider, the tremors were reported in Malir, Shah Faisal Colony, Quaidabad, Gulzar-e-Hijri, University Road, and surrounding localities.
The meteorologist stated that the Landhi fault line has become active, which is the likely cause of the seismic activity. He added that it is impossible to predict how long the tremors might continue. No immediate reports of damage or injuries have been received so far.
Chief Meteorologist Haider explained that these earthquake tremors are occurring due to the activation of the Landhi Fault Line. He stated it’s impossible to predict how long these tremors might continue, leaving residents in a state of uncertainty.
