A session of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly turned chaotic when a government member, Fazal Rahim, tried to hit opposition leader Nawaz Khan. Thankfully, Nawaz Khan was not hurt during the intense exchange. The incident brought the assembly proceedings to a halt.
The large uproar began during a discussion about the Land Reforms Bill. Things escalated after government member Amjad Hussain gave a speech that Nawaz Khan objected to, leading to a scuffle. The disagreement quickly became heated, with members getting physically involved.
It was during this commotion that Fazal Rahim attempted to strike Nawaz Khan. However, his attempt did not connect. Other members quickly stepped in between the two leaders, working to bring the situation under control and prevent further escalation.
