Karachi witnessed two fatal knife attacks, claiming the lives of a man and a woman in separate incidents. While police have detained suspects in one case, a manhunt is underway for the accused in the other.
The first incident occurred in Lyari, where a dispute over water supply in a residential building escalated into violence. A man named Nasir was fatally stabbed by three brothers during the altercation. Police have taken the suspects into custody and initiated an investigation.
In another shocking case, a woman was found murdered in a private hotel near Nursery on Sharea Faisal. Police suspect her ex-husband, a butcher from II Chundrigar Road, carried out the crime before fleeing. Authorities revealed that he had taken a knife from his shop the previous evening and later informed his brothers and a friend after the murder.
A police search is underway to locate the suspect and his associates, who remain at large.
