Former actor Ayesha Takia has spoken out after her husband, Farhan Azmi, was booked by Goa Police following an altercation at a supermarket in Candolim, North Goa. Sharing multiple videos from the night of the incident, Ayesha claimed that Farhan and their 11-year-old son were the “actual victims” and urged people to stop blaming them.

Taking to Instagram, she addressed reports stating that Farhan was abusing power. “Farhan abusing power? Please see the actual bullies for yourself. Please hear these rowdy women call my son dirty words and intimidate him. He is 11 years old. Farhan was already in the cop car at this point. Who are these horrendous, disgusting women? Shameful,” she wrote.

She also posted a video of a woman shouting at Farhan in front of the police, writing, “See who the real bullies are. See how they also speak to the cops.” Another clip showed a woman wrestling a bag from a police officer. Ayesha noted, “See how they behave with the police to get the bag… He never even removed it.”

Goa Police confirmed a scuffle broke out over a petty matter and registered a case against Farhan Azmi and others under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
