Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori announced that families of those who lost their lives in dumper accidents will be given plots of land. He explained in a press conference in Karachi that a daily lottery will be held to allocate the plots, and the property files will be handed over to the beneficiaries on the same day.

Regarding Ramadan, Governor Sindh Tessori mentioned that the Governor House will run special programs during the holy month under the name “Ittihad-e-Ramzan” (Ramadan of Unity), which aims to promote unity and solidarity among the people.

The governor also expressed concern about the increasing drug abuse among young people. He urged parents to keep a close eye on their children and noted that over 32 types of drugs are now available in various forms. He also suggested that teachers should undergo medical tests. He announced that an anti-narcotics cell will be set up at the Governor House to fight this issue, with a focus on public awareness.

Kamran Tessori also shared that he had received death threats via email, including threats of being killed in a way similar to Dr. Imran Farooq. Despite these threats, he successfully completed his visit to London.

Finally, he mentioned that he would write to the provincial home minister regarding private security guards. He called for a clear policy on private security personnel and emphasized the need for justice in the Mustafa Aamir case, urging authorities to hold the perpetrators accountable.
