Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is scheduled to visit Islamabad for a one-day tour.

During his visit, Sheikh Khaled will be honored with Pakistan’s highest civilian award, the Nishan-e-Pakistan, in a special ceremony.

Sources indicate that the Crown Prince is also expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Additionally, both leaders are anticipated to discuss bilateral relations and economic cooperation.

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed is a member of Abu Dhabi’s Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs and serves on the board of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). He is also a board member of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and has previously held key national security positions, including serving as Deputy National Security Adviser.

In March 2023, Sheikh Khaled was appointed Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. His visit to Pakistan is regarded as an important move to strengthen economic, trade, and investment ties between the two countries.
