Second phase of ‘Dhee Rani’ programme starts to support underprivileged couples

The second phase of the ‘Dhee Rani’ programme kicked off on Sunday to help underprivileged couples. In this phase, 1,500 couples will be registered for mass weddings.

Couples who wish to apply can submit their applications online at cmp.punjab.gov.pk.

Those who prefer to apply in person can visit the Social Welfare Department office in any district of Punjab. To assist applicants, a dedicated helpline (1312) has also been set up for guidance.

As part of the programme, the Punjab government will provide a free meal to the relatives attending the weddings.

Additionally, each couple will receive Rs 100,000 as a wedding gift from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
