  • He was released shortly after the procedure and did not require an overnight stay.
  • Combs has been in detention since September 2024 on charges of sex trafficking.
  • Federal prison officials declined to comment on Combs’ medical treatment due to privacy, safety, and security policies.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was briefly hospitalized on Thursday night, January 30, after being transferred from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he remains in custody on federal sex crime charges awaiting trial, reports said.

According to the source, Combs was admitted to Brooklyn Hospital around 10 p.m. for an MRI on his knee. He was released shortly after the procedure and did not require an overnight stay at the hospital.

According to the outlet’s source, the hip-hop mogul has suffered from chronic knee problems since running the New York City Marathon in 2003.

Federal prison officials declined to comment on the medical treatment Combs received, citing policies that prevent the release of information about an inmate’s health or medical visits.

A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson stated to source through an email, “For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not discuss the conditions of confinement for any individual in our custody including health status or medical trips.”

The billionaire music tycoon has remained in detention since his indictment in September 2024 on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation of persons for prostitution. Judges have rejected several of his bail applications, citing concerns that he may attempt to influence witnesses involved in the case.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs faces charges of forcing women to participate in his infamous “freak offs,” which involve organized sexual acts. Since his arrest, numerous lawsuits have been filed against him, alongside a series of allegations of sexual assault and rape, involving women, men, and minors. However, he has denied all allegations.
