Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to religious harmony, saying the country is a safe place for people of all faiths.

In a message for World Interfaith Harmony Week, he highlighted the importance of tolerance, mutual respect, and social unity. He stated that Pakistan supports global efforts for peace and harmony and that Islam teaches justice, compassion, and respect for all.

PM Shehbaz strongly condemned extremism and divisive rhetoric, warning that such issues threaten society’s peace. He stressed the need to fight intolerance and work together for unity.

He urged citizens to promote brotherhood and cooperation, saying that Pakistan remains committed to creating an environment of mutual respect. He also called for dialogue to counter hate and prejudice, encouraging religious scholars, community leaders, and civil society to play their role in building an inclusive society.

“Our response to hate is meaningful conversation and unity,” he said, emphasizing the need for peaceful coexistence.
