The gold rate in Pakistan further increased by Rs400 to Rs292,200 per tola in the local market on Saturday (Feb 1).
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs343, reaching Rs250,514.
On Friday, the gold price per tola in Pakistan surged by Rs1,500, setting a new record at Rs291,800.
Meanwhile, the international gold price saw an increase on Saturday, reaching $2,797 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a $5 rise for the day, as reported by APGJSA.
In contrast, silver prices declined by Rs30, settling at Rs3,270 per tola
