The gold rate in Pakistan further increased by Rs1,500 to Rs291,800 per tola in the local market on Friday (Jan 31).
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs1,286, reaching Rs250,171.
On Thursday, the gold price per tola in Pakistan surged by Rs1,600, hitting a record high of Rs290,300.
Meanwhile, the international gold rate also saw an increase on Friday. As per APGJSA, gold was priced at $2,792 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $14 rise for the day.
Additionally, silver prices remained steady at Rs3,300 per tola.
