Yami Gautam entered parenthood in 2024 when she welcomed her first child with her husband, Aditya Dhar. The actress is now preparing for the release of her movie “Dhoom Dhaam”. Recently, Yami opened up about balancing work and parenting her son, Vedavid. She emphasized that women are capable of doing much more than we often realize.

During the recent trailer launch of “Dhoom Dhaam”, Yami Gautam opened up about motherhood. She shared that being a working mother was nothing to be ashamed of, stating, “When it comes to women, we are capable of doing much more than we can think.” The actress also acknowledged the support from her and her husband Aditya Dhar’s families.

Yami revealed that while she and her husband were working, their parents took care of the baby. She explained that they were able to work because they trusted their parents completely. The actress emphasized that life is all about balance, admitting that, as parents, they always kept their son’s safety in mind but also had to continue with their work.

Yami mentioned, “If I am sitting here as a committed professional, I have to do my job right and then go back home.” She added that being a parent is a ‘never-ending job’ and shared how her mother continues to take care of her.

Gautam’s next film, “Dhoom Dhaam”, is a wedding-themed action comedy, where she stars opposite Pratik Gandhi. The film will premiere on Netflix on February 14, 2025, coinciding with Valentine’s Day. Directed by Rishab Seth, the movie is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar.

The official trailer of the film has already been unveiled, offering a glimpse of the entertainment in store for the audience. The story follows a newlywed couple, Koyal and Veer, whose wedding night takes a chaotic turn when goons arrive, demanding to know the location of a certain Charlie.
