According to a report by Global Firepower, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) continues to soar towards excellence, carrying forward a remarkable legacy of bravery and sacrifice.
On April 13, 1948, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah emphasized the importance of air power, stating:
“A country without a strong air force is at the mercy of any aggressor. Pakistan must build up its air force as quickly as possible. It must be an efficient air force, second to none.”
Today, the Pakistan Air Force has achieved a prestigious standing, earning global recognition for its capabilities.
As per Global Firepower’s latest rankings, the PAF has secured the 7th position among the world’s most powerful air forces. This ranking is determined by assessing the number and types of fighter jets, helicopters, and other aircraft in service.
