The gold rate in Pakistan further increased by Rs1,000 to Rs276,000 per tola in the local market on Tuesday (Jan 7).
Similarly, 10 grams of gold was priced at Rs236,625, reflecting an increase of Rs857, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Monday, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs700, settling at Rs275,000.
The international gold price rose on Tuesday. According to APGJSA, it was priced at $2,642 per ounce, with a $20 premium, marking a $10 increase during the day.
Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs3,350 per tola.
