Pakistan Navy aircraft participates in anti-submarine warfare exercise in Türkiye

The Pakistan Navy’s ATR aircraft from the 29 Anti-Submarine Warfare Squadron took part in Exercise MAVI BALINA-2024 held in Dalaman, Türkiye.

MAVI BALINA-2024, a Turkish-led multinational Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) exercise, featured over 30 platforms, including ships, submarines, aircraft, and UAVs. Conducted in the Eastern Mediterranean, the exercise focused on honing submarine operations and ASW procedures.

The Pakistan Navy’s participation highlights its strong commitment to fostering ties between Pakistan and Türkiye and building partnerships with prominent navies. These collaborative exercises enhance interoperability, offer valuable training opportunities, and strengthen resilience in protecting shared regional interests and promoting peace.

The multilateral exercise included naval and air assets from Türkiye, NATO, the USA, Pakistan, Greece, as well as Special Operations Forces teams from Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
