Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif attended the funeral prayer of Captain Muhammad Zohaib-ud-Din Shaheed on Sunday.

The funeral was also attended by Corps Commander Lahore Lt. General Syed Aamer Raza, along with senior civil and military officials, as stated in a press release from the PM Office Media Wing.

The prime minister met with the family of the martyred captain to offer his condolences and expressed deep respect for his sacrifice. He honored Captain Muhammad Zohaib-ud-Din for his bravery in fighting Khawarij terrorists, stating that the entire nation takes pride in his heroic sacrifice.

Captain Muhammad Zohaib-ud-Din was martyred on November 30 during an intelligence-based operation in Shagai, District Khyber. During the operation, three Khawarij were eliminated, and two others were captured.
