Social Networking site, Instagram is backing after an earlier outage that affected the users across the world.

The networking site was evidently hit by widespread technical problems on Thursday, with users reporting the inability to log in or access their feed.

According to media, reports of errors on Instagram spiked on Thursday. The problems appeared most prevalent in the U.S. in the Northeast and in Southern California with some reports originating out of Europe and other parts of the world.

Users were seeing a “couldn’t refresh feed” message when visiting the popular social media app. According to DownDetector, tens of thousands of people reported the outage before service was restored.
