As Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) gears up for its much-anticipated “do-or-die” protest in Islamabad, communication services have been disrupted across the country.
Key cities such as Karachi, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi have reported widespread interruptions in mobile internet and other networks, causing inconvenience to residents and businesses. The government attributes these disruptions to heightened security measures aimed at managing the protest.
In Islamabad and Rawalpindi, mobile data services have been suspended, while Peshawar faces partial internet disruptions, though mobile networks remain functional. Karachi residents have also experienced mobile internet outages since last night, adding to the inconvenience.
