The gold rate in Pakistan further increased by Rs2,500 to Rs280,500 per tola in the local market on Friday (Nov 22).
The price of 10-gram gold reached Rs240,483, reflecting an increase of Rs2,143, according to the latest rates from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Thursday, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs3,700, closing at Rs278,000.
Globally, gold prices climbed on Friday, with the international rate reaching $2,693 per ounce, including a $20 premium, marking a $25 increase during the day, as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady at Rs3,450 per tola.
Last month, gold in Pakistan recorded an all-time high of Rs287,900 per tola.
