ISLAMABAD: Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, stated that Imran has approved talks regarding the planned protest on November 24.

Speaking to the media, Aleema shared that Ali Amin Gandapur and Barrister Gohar recently met with Imran Khan to update him on the protest preparations. She noted that Imran allowed for negotiations concerning the party’s demands and set a deadline for discussions to conclude by Thursday.

Aleema underscored the importance of political parties maintaining open channels for dialogue, emphasizing that peaceful protest is a constitutional right. She further called for adherence to the rule of law, judicial independence, the release of detainees, and the resolution of issues such as electoral fraud.

Separately, on November 18, an alleged audio recording of Bushra Bibi, the wife of jailed PTI founder Imran Khan, surfaced. In the recording, reportedly made at the Chief Minister’s House, Bushra Bibi can be heard advising party members on strategies to prevent arrests during the November 24 protest. She also stressed the importance of loyalty to Imran and planning ways to counteract an anticipated internet blackout.

“November 24 will serve as a loyalty test for PTI members,” Bushra Bibi is heard saying in the purported audio. She instructed party members to share videos with both local and international media to combat the internet blockade, warning that those who fail to do so may not receive party tickets to contest future elections.
