The Met Department predicts partly cloudy weather with a chance of rain in Islamabad and nearby areas.
A spokesperson said that light rain is expected in some areas, providing a brief break from the dry weather. However, parts of Punjab are likely to experience persistent smog and fog.
Major cities such as Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Narowal, and Gujranwala will be affected, with heavy smog and fog expected in Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Multan, and Rahim Yar Khan. Residents and travelers in these areas have been advised to be cautious as visibility may be low.
The forecast also predicts rain during the night in cities like Lahore, Attock, Murree, and Rawalpindi, as well as in northern areas including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Peshawar, and Kohat.
On the other hand, Sindh and Balochistan are expected to remain hot and dry, with no significant change in the weather for the next few days.
