Turkish citizens accounted for the largest portion of applicants, submitting over 254,000 applications, which represented 40.5% of the total. Russian and Chinese nationals followed with 62,959 and 35,931 applications, respectively. This trend underscores Greece’s appeal, especially to travellers from neighboring countries and further afield.

- Senegal – Senegalese applicants had a 56.25% rejection rate, despite a smaller total of 240 applications.
- Iraq – Iraqis submitted 3,568 visa applications, with 49.22% facing rejection.
