KARACHI: The US dollar rate in Pakistan slammed by Re0.21 (21 paisa) against Pakistani rupee to Rs277.73 in the interbank market on Friday (Nov 8) as per the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
However, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 277.30 and Rs 278.80 respectively.
The price of Euro increased by 03 paisa to close at Rs 298.94 against the last day’s closing of Rs 298.91, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen went up by 02 paisa and closed at Rs1.82, whereas an increase of 23 paisa was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which traded at Rs359.54 as compared to the last day’s closing of Rs359.31.
The exchange rate of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal came down by 06 and 05 paisa to close at Rs75.61 and Rs73.93, respectively.
