The gold rate in Pakistan further increased by Rs2,000 to Rs285,400 per tola in the local market on Wednesday (Oct 23).
Similarly, 10 grams of gold were priced at Rs244,684 following an increase of Rs1,714, based on the rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, the gold price had risen by Rs1,100, reaching a then-record high of Rs283,400.
Additionally, the international gold price saw an increase on Wednesday. According to APGJSA, it was quoted at $2,757 per ounce (with a premium of $20), marking a $20 rise during the day.
Silver prices also saw an uptick, gaining Rs200 to reach Rs3,350 per tola.
